Rebecca Stephens MBE is the first British woman to have climbed Mount Everest and the Seven Summits, the highest peak on each of the seven continents. It promises to be a big year for Everest, a BBC documentary has been scheduled and wide-spread newspaper coverage can be expected on the story. The year 2003 also happens to be the 10th anniversary of Rebecca's first ascent.
